Visiting Our Lesotho School

Posted in

Twelve of us arrived Tue 9th at Mokoallong High School to be greeted by almost 400 children singing and dancing.

Seeing the BT PlayPump in action was really amazing. They love their roundabout and their smiley faces show how happy they are as the spin around. Other children push each other to get to the tap to fill their bottles.

Later on we walked around the classrooms giving each child fruit, biscuits and sweets.

Opposite the school we visited an HIV care centre and listened to the amazing work they have been doing.

Before we left we were taken to a natural spring and watched the procedure the children go through to collect water before the PlayPump. We took the challenge and carried 9 litres of water on our heads back up the hill.

A very tiring day for the twelve of us, but a most amazing experience to see how we have changed lives of this comminity.
