Hundreds of serving and past members of cavalry regiments, together with several military bands performed a march past in Hyde Park today. Nearly all were dressed in dark suits with ties of their regiment. Many wore bowler hats and carried rolled up umbrellas. The march led onto a memorial service by the bandstand followed by lunch.
The annual event is held in the memory of all ranks who gave their lives serving in the two great wars and other active service.
